Zone of production: South-western area of the Basilicata Region
Harvest period: September, the first decade for Primitivo; second and third for Merlot.
Method of harvest: Hand harvesting of the grapes in crates of 12 - 15 kg and immediate transport of the same to the cellar.
Vinification: Vinification in horizontal rotary vinifiers and skin maceration at a controlled temperature from 21º to 25º C. for about 8 days, completion of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing: In stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 60 days and in the bottle for at least 30.
Organoleptic characteristics: A simple wine but of quality and good structure, elegant, well balanced, pleasant and seductive when young, which presents: intense ruby red with purple reflections.

Food pairing and serving temperature: Classic red wine that goes well with the typical cuisine of the Mediterranean tradition, not very elaborate but rich in flavors, with spicy and spicy first courses, second courses based on roasted sheep and beef and medium-aged cheeses.
It is suggested to serve fresh from the cellar at about 16º - 18º C.
